Centennary Memerships
During our 100th Anniversary, all new members can join The Royal Canadian Legion for free for 2026!
Your membership will help strengthen the Legion and our support for Veterans and our communities across the country. Plus, there are lots of great ways to get involved and have fun through your location Legion Branch!
Membership
Membership Catagories:
Ordinary:
Primarily for veterans. Open to still-serving and retired military, reservists, RCMP, police officers and the Canadian Coast Guard.
Associate:
Open to family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, etc) of someone who is or was eligable to be an Ordinary.
Affiliate Voting:
Open to Canadian citizens or Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation wo do not qualify for Ordinary or Associate membership but support the Legion's goals.
Affiliate Non-Voting:
Includes supporters who neither Canadian citizens nor Commonwealth subjects from an Allied nation.
